Our Mission

The Pioneer AgViation II mission statement is centered on the foundation of maximizing the efficiency of aerial application in the agricultural communities in which we operate. We optimize this standard through our commitment in staying current with technology. Our long history of expertise produces results for our customers that not only meet the needs of our customers, but successfully adds positive growth and development to the agricultural world. The lifelong mission of Pioneer AgViation II is showcased daily in the dedication and passion for aerial application, along with steadfast characteristics in providing excellent services and quality products to all our customers we serve. Our ongoing promise to continue this mission through generational commitment will remain number one priority for Pioneer AgViation II. Through this promise, the ability to assist farmers in improving their yields, while saving them time and costs is achieved through precise crop mapping and extensive crop analysis our team delivers to our customers each and every day.

Pioneer AgViation II - History

Our History

Founded in 1997 by Brian Struhm in Minot, North Dakota, our company began as a local aerial application service. Over the years, Brian, alongside Greg Grothusen, expanded operations throughout Northwest North Dakota, establishing a reputation for reliability and excellence in the region.

In 2018, after more than two decades of successful management, Brian sold the business to Randy and Ryan Wells, who renamed it Pioneer AgViation II (PAV2). Under Randy and Ryan’s leadership, the company continued to grow its presence across North Dakota. Despite the tragic loss of Randy in 2020, PAV2 has persevered and continued to thrive.

Today, PAV2 operates from nine locations, providing essential services to farmers and agricultural cooperatives across the state. Our commitment to innovation and service excellence remains stronger than ever.
